Automated Delivery System For Application Updates Added To The Tracker-Series!
After
14 years, Northwest Software is changing the way it delivers
application updates to its end-users. No longer will users need to
manually check for and install updates! Beginning with the 10/23/04
release of Auction-Tracker v5.50, the application suite now provides
automated update sensing and interactive web-based updating of the
software. (Automated updating will be available for the rest of the
suite by year's end.) Update sensing is ran quietly in the background
of the application and if a new update is found, notifies the user of
its availability. To install, the user simply starts the process with a
click of the mouse! As
always, "updates" for Tracker-Series applications are provided free of
charge and users are encouraged to keep their application current.
Product
shipments of Auction-Tracker now include the new automated updating
