iml Ltd. and NW Software Integrate Powerful Bid Management Technologies.

Silent Auctions Go Green!

New York City (April 15, 2009) - Two silent auction fundraising solutions unite redefining silent auction bidding methods and practice, leading to more fundraising dollars for non-profits. The integration of the revolutionary iml Pledge & Silent Auction electronic bidding application with Northwest Software’s industry leading benefit auction management application, Auction-Tracker, allows the silent auction to go “green” by eliminating the traditional paper silent auction bid sheet.

iml's technology utilizes handheld, wireless devices that allow guests to bid on items, check current highest bids, and make pledges without leaving their seats. This paperless solution maximizes participation and competition, instantaneously creates customized reports of bidding activity, and allows the auction to stay open longer, ultimately raising more money.

Since 1990, Northwest Software Technologies has been the industry leader in providing nonprofit organizations the ability to make event fundraising easier to manage and more efficient. Auction-Tracker v6.00, the application’s latest edition, continues that tradition of managing an event from all aspects including constituent and procurement management, event preparation, credit card processing, checkout and post event wrap-up and analysis.

“We found that some of our clients had already purchased Auction-Tracker fundraising software, so we wanted to ensure that our electronic silent auction solution would not only work seamlessly with Auction-Tracker, but also make the process as simple and straightforward as possible for our respective clients,” said Simon Bryan, Managing Director at iml North America.

"Delivering powerful software technology that provides nonprofit organizations the ability to make their event fundraisers easier to manage and more efficient, is the primary focus of our firm", said Jack D. Wilson, Jr., President and Chief Executive Officer of Northwest Software Technologies, Inc. "Integrating iml’s electronic silent auction bidding system with Auction-Tracker's powerful management and checkout tools raises the bar for the gala silent auction event to the next level. By eliminating the paper auction bid sheet, bidder labels and bar code technology, guests are treated to an event that is fun and exciting while holding their attention longer. In turn, successful bid entry is reduced to a simple acceptance of final bid information and checkout is immediate. With increased efficiency, the organization profits by focusing the responsibilities of their staff and volunteers to more important duties. Northwest Software Technologies welcomes iml to its third party developer program and looks forward to working with their staff and management teams in the United States and Great Britain."
